"It was my dream to live in Colorado for as long as I've known what mountains are. I grew up in New Jersey, Germany and Missouri. I spent my childhood wandering through wild places in search of strange creatures, and later in life going on epic journeys through great western expanses. I wanted to record all the natural wonders that I witnessed throughout my life, so when I was a teenager I taught myself photography. It all started with a fully manual, vintage Canon that my dad gave me. In the years to come, many factors influenced my photography. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Wildlife Biology, was in the Army, and best of all, moved to Colorado. During the week I'm a healthcare sales exec, but I'm still very much a biologist at heart. I spend as much time as I can on the trail, in a tent, and on the road with my camera, in search of wild places and things. Through this Web site, I hope to stay connected with nature, and make photography a bigger part of my life. I also hope to increase peoples' awareness and appreciation of nature's wild places."
